New England Kriging Tutorial

This tutorial will guide you through an example analysis using the kriging method.  To start, you will need to load the NE_kriging.spt project from the Tutorial files.  

Open SpaceStat and choose File -> Open project

Navigate to the location of the Tutorials files.  The default location for these files is: C:\Program Files\Biomedware\SpaceStat\Tutorials

If you installed your copy of SpaceStat in a different location, the Tutorial folder will be wherever SpaceStat is installed.  

Go to the Kriging folder and select the NE_kriging.spt project.  There will be two point geographies: NE_sample, and Kriging grid.

Call the kriging method

Under the 'Methods' option choose 'Kriging', then 'Univariate kriging'. A 'task manager window' opens.

Undock the Task manager window and expand it.
