Launch BoundarySeer from your menu. (If you can't find the BoundarySeer.exe file, search for it using "Find" from the Start Menu.)
The first step in creating a new BoundarySeer project is to import data. We will import the warbler abundance data first, and then the vegetation data.
Quick Start: Choose to create a new project. Hit "OK".
Import Data: Choose to import vector data. Hit "OK".
Import Vector Data: Choose the file "warblers.txt" from within the Samples directory, and click "Import".
Import Data Set: Choose a planar projection and user coordinates. You need not define a missing value code. Click "Next."
Select Variables to Import: Choose to import all six variables as numeric variables. The values of the variables represent counts of warbler territories for the six species.
View Data in Map: The data set has imported. Choose "Yes" to view the data in a map.
Edit Spatial Network: You will not need to edit the spatial network. Choose "No."
Next you need to import the vegetation data.
