Introduction to importing data

When you first create a BoundarySeer project, a dialog pops up to ask what type of data you would like to import—raster or vector. Then, depending on whether the data file has a header describing the file's contents, additional dialog boxes may appear that request information about the data, or whether you would like to georeference the data (raster file).

To import multiple GRID ASCII files with the same spatial coordinates, you need to choose "Import" then "Custom" from the "Data" menu. Multiple GRID files cannot be imported from the initial "Quick Start" dialogs.
