Labels are used to identify regions or individuals, depending on the resolution of the data.
Labels must be unique. Label matching between files is case-sensitive.
Can be either numbers or letters or a combination.
Can include spaces if the label is enclosed in single or double quotation marks.
Labels can be omitted by checking the box "Use study unit row number as label" when you submit the data as a text file with a header. If you need to match observations in different files and you use the row number, the files must be in the same order to match correctly.
