You can view the map by choosing "Map" from the "View" menu.
The map initially displayed will be a choropleth map shaded by the Local Moran test statistic values for each ZIP code.
Bring up the Properties dialog to change the map. To do so, you can double click on the "Regions" in the left-hand Layers pane. Change the Variable displayed (Fill color | Graduated Color | Variable: ) to "Disease Frequency".
To get the map shown below, you can also change the colors. Pick green as the minimum color, purple as the maximum color, and then choose "Diverging Color" as the Graduated Mode. In this map, ZIP codes colored white have an SMR near 1 (observed is approximately equal to expected), while green ZIP codes have SMR values less than 1, and purple ZIP codes have SMR values greater than 1.

If you query some ZIP codes in the northwest and southeast sections of Long Island you will likely encounter ZIP codes listed in the Session Log tables with positive Local Moran values. Based on the relative shading of these sections, there appears to be local clustering of low SMR values in the northwest corner and high SMR values in the southeast corner.
