MicroSeer Conference

BioMedware held a conference March 10, 2003 to kick-off the MicroSeer project. At this meeting, we learned from experts about research using fluorescence microscopy and possible applications of the proposed software system. We also received critical feedback on the proposed MicroSeer software.

Agenda

March 10, 2003

Welcome and introductions, Dunrie Greiling

How are transient contractile arrays assembled? Lessons from oocyte wound healing, William Bement

Automated interpretation of fluorescence microscope images for location proteomics, Jonathan Jarvik and Bob Murphy

Title TBA, Brian Athey and/or Jim Beals

Draft MicroSeer software requirements, Dunrie

A naive geostatistical analysis of microscopy imagery (pdf of slides), Pierre Goovaerts
