It is important to note that NO, one does not need a Masters or Ph D in Biology from the University of Michigan to be a member of this illustrious staff.

I started here at BioMedware in January 2002 to work on the Arsenic project, with a masters in Spatial Information Science and well am still enjoying almost every single day. It is wonderful to be a part of this project. I have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of academics from the fields of geostatistics, environmental health, natural resources, and cancer epidemiology. I am able to work diligently on my computer geocoding, writing papers, or doing statistical analysis some days, while others I am cruising the counties of southeastern Michigan meeting the enthusiastic participants of the project and collecting data.

BioMedware provides a unique work environment. We work well together collaborating on projects or providing some sort of feedback (positive or negative) and at the same time (well, at different times but in the same vein) we can work independently not even knowing if our colleagues are actually in the building.

Notable Achievements

Figuring out how to print double sided. Writing my first SAS set of commands. Deleting my shortcut to ArcMap and replacing it with a shortcut to TerraSeer STIS.
